A veteran financial news reporter, Katherine is responsible for Solver’s financial-services practice, where she advises high-net worth individuals and family offices, hedge funds and alternative asset managers, as well as companies planning strategic moves, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and fundraising rounds.

Katherine spent 17 years at Bloomberg LP, in myriad roles, including leader of the European banking team and founder and managing editor of the global deals team, overseeing more than 30 reporters and editors. She later served as executive editor in charge of breaking news across all beats and regions, coordinating coverage of events as diverse as the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 to the rise of corporate inversions.

With an intimate knowledge of how newsrooms operate and experience overseeing global business coverage, Katherine brings invaluable insight to clients and a wide network of relationships to tap within the global media. The reporters and editors she worked alongside and trained are today’s most influential financial journalists and decision makers at the leading news outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, CNBC and the New York Times.

Prior to joining Stu Loeser & Co., Katherine worked as a principal at the Narrative Trust, where she interviewed ultra high-net worth individuals to record their life stories and legacies. Katherine graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College and was a Fulbright Scholar in Vienna, Austria. She is fluent in German.
